Spring has sprung along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Hints of warmer air, flowers blooming, and birds fluttering about are a great reminder of what we have to be thankful for.
Easter falls late this year, happening on Sunday, April 17, 2022, and we have compiled a list (and will continue to update) all the holiday happenings and special dining options available on Easter weekend from Destin, Miramar Beach, to even 30A!
Easter – the most important and oldest festival of the Christian Church, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and held (in the Western Church) between March 21 and April 25, on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the northern spring equinox.
Chapel at Seaside – 30A. Sunrise beach service & Chapel services. Sunday on the beach at 6a CT and again at 8:30a or 10a at the Chapel at Seaside
Destin United Methodist – DESTIN. Beach worship service. Sunday on the beach at Crab Trap Destin at 7:30a CT and again at Henderson State Park at 5:30p CT. They also livestream their services on their Facebook page and Youtube account.
Destiny – Destin, Freeport, Panama City Beach, Fort Walton Beach, Crestview. Sunday Church services range from 8:30a through 11:30a depending on location. Saturday events range from Egg Hunts, Carnivals, to Easter Service at 5p.
Hope on the Beach Church – 30A. Sunrise and Easter service on the beach, at Shunk Gulley, & at 98 Campus. Sunday at Ed Walline beach at 6:30a and again at 8a. Later at Shunk Gulley at 9:20a. Then last service is at the Highway 98 Campus at 11a.
Doggie EGGstravaganza – Have a barkin’ ol’ time as Dog-Harmony presents the 7th annual, canine-only Easter egg hunt and social at Grand Boulevard. People prizes and puppy treats will be plentiful, and you can even receive a professional photography from Mills Photo Design with your pup! Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 5:30 – 7:30p CT.
The Great 30A Easter Race – Choose from one of the two 5K races, or hop along on the magical 10K run. All 3 courses will start and end at the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Enjoy gorgeous beach views, majestic pines, and dune lakes as you bounce along the course. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 7a CT.
Rosemary Beach’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt – Load up the van and head out to Rosemary Beach for the largest Easter egg hunt you’ve ever seen. With 25,000 eggs to find, you and the kiddos are sure to have a blast! Sunday, April 17, 2022 from 10-10:30a CT.
Run for Joy – Load the family and your friends up for a 5K run/walk benefitting the Ronald McDonald House. The run will be held at Niceville’s Church on Bayshore. Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 8:30a CT.

Host your own private beach bonfire with Salty Girls Setups!
Join an e-bike eco-tour with 30A Electric!
Explore the gorgeous Eden Gardens State Park!
Baytowne Wharf – Bounce your way around the Sandestin Resort for an afternoon filled with face-painting, arts & crafts, and live music. Don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for the bunny as well! Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 12-3p CT.
HarborWalk Village – Hop on down to the Destin harbor and snag your FREE 4×6 photo with the Easter Bunny. They’ll have a plethora of kid’s activities to enjoy and even a golden egg hunt! Head’s up, HarborWalk does charge a $10 parking fee to park along the harbor. Sunday, April 17, 2022 from 2-4p CT.
Seaside – You’re bound to have a hoppy time at Seaside’s Easter Celebration event! Visit with the bunny himself (or herself), join in on the hunt (1p CT) for over 15,000 eggs in the Amphitheater, and enjoy fun festivities for all ages. Sunday, April 17, 2022 from 11a – 2p CT.
790 – Check out one of Destin’s favorite brunch spots (recently moved near Destin Walmart) for a special Easter Sunday Buffet. Adults are $40/person and children aged 6-12 are only $17. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Blue Mountain Bakery – Pre-order an amazing, precooked meal so you don’t have to lift a finger this holiday weekend. BMB has a ton of amazing options to choose from. Order online in advance and pick up on Saturday, April 16, 2022 between 9a-12p CT. Everything will be ready to go – just preheat and enjoy!
Gulf Restaurant – There’s no better way to devour your brunch than with the Easter bunny himself! Head on over to The Gulf Restaurant on Okaloosa Island for some scrumptious eats and delicious cocktails. Adults are $15/person and children are $10/person. Saturday, April 9 & 16, 2022 from 10a – 1p CT.
Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club – Serving mimosas and a bloody Mary bar, this is the place to be on Sunday! Enjoy a classic breakfast buffet with options like pan seared grouper, candied bacon tower, and much more! Two seatings will occur: 10:30a and 12:30p CT. Adults are $38/person. Children 12 and under are only $19. Under 3 is free. An Easter egg hunt will also be held at the Main Clubhouse at 11:30a CT. Sunday, April 17, 2022
Solaris Dinner Cruise – Step aboard the area’s only cruise boat for a relaxing Easter dinner. Departing out of Baytowne Marina at 5p sharp, you’ll savor a scrumptious three course dinner, all while taking in those mesmerizing bay views. Adults are $86/person and children aged 3-10 are only $48. Sunday, April 17, 2022.
