Owning a vacation rental is one of the most exciting opportunities. We know that most property owners live hundreds of miles away, and everyone has a different preference on how involved they are (or not). At the end of the day, having someone local, who you can trust, is the key to your success.
5 star properties
With the birth of Breathe Easy Rentals, we created a vision unlike most others. We want to represent stellar properties that are well-cared as they create relaxing experiences for our guests. We don’t take on every and any property; we have no quotas to fill. Most importantly though, we choose to partner with Owners who truly care about the guest experience and understand their part.
The following are a list of items we look for in rental properties and owners:
- Property must be in Destin or Miramar Beach
- Property must be beachfront, or at minimum, less than a 5 minute walk to the beach.
- Property must be properly maintained (if a toilet seat breaks, we don’t want a battle on whether or not it’s going to be replaced).
- Property must be de-cluttered, updated, and stocked with rental essentials (services are offered to get you up to speed).
- All condos/homes must pass our safety inspections.
- We do not manage golf carts (it’s okay if it’s outsourced through an activity provider).
Everyone has an opinion…
We work really, really hard, and nothing is sweeter to us after a long day of work, than sitting down to read the reviews our guests leave. Are we perfect? No, not by any means. But, we do everything we humanly can to fix any “uh-oh’s” and make sure guests (and Owners!) are as comfortable as possible. Problems will arise. It’s how we handle these problems that sets us apart.
