Vacation Rental Travel Insurance is made available to you at the time of booking with Breathe Easy Rentals. This plan provides coverage for the loss of prepaid, non-refundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation investment and force you to incur unplanned expenses.

Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage is available for events such as a sickness or injury of yourself, family member or traveling companion; flight delays due to adverse weather; interruptions of road service; terrorist acts; and mandatory evacuations. The plan also includes other valuable coverages such as Medical and Dental, Baggage, and Emergency Assistance and Transportation in addition to useful services such as identity theft, concierge, and 24/7/365 emergency assistance.

 

  • Premiums are calculated at 7.95% of the Total Booking Charges.
  • The full Travel Insurance amount must be paid in full when the last payment is processed, and the reservation is considered paid in full. The insurance policy cannot be removed and refunded after final payment is made unless you fall within the 10-day free look period described below.
  • Generali provides a 10-day free look for the insurance plan which begins on the day of purchase. You’ll have 10 days to review the coverage, and should you decide to cancel the plan, you can receive a full refund of the insurance premium so long as you have not started your trip or filed a claim. After the 10-day free look period passes, the plan is no longer refundable.
