“Family from Texas and South Carolina gathered for a week at Shipwatch Palazzo! It was a week, and the house met our every need. From 9 months old to 91 years old, every family member was adequately accommodated. Fantastic location and amenities made this a week to remember!”
Our takeaway: We love that our properties range from a large beachfront home such as Shipwatch Palazzo, which can sleep 22 guests, all the way down in size to one bedroom, affordable condos!
“What a great find! We absolutely loved our ground floor condo. The location was great with access to activities and restaurants but the complexes are lower density so the beach was not overly crowded. The condo is completely updated with a gorgeous fully stocked kitchen, beautiful decor and comfortable furniture throughout. Very clean and even included extras to ensure we would enjoy our stay. We will definitely be booking this unit in the future!”
Our takeaway: While many folks prefer higher-up floors, we have found that many families are beginning to enjoy and see the major conveniences of being ground floor: easier access in/out, no elevators, closer to parking/amenities, etc.
“We cannot wait to book our next vacation at this condo. It was perfect for us. A beautiful upgraded condo in Sandestin®, safety, walk out to the beach, a few mile drive to 30A or Destin all made this the perfect condo for a great vacation. We’ll be back next year!”
Our takeaway: We (and our guests!) absolutely love the many conveniences of Sandestin® Resort in Miramar Beach – a family friendly 2400 acre resort packed full of beach, amenities, and activities for all ages to enjoy.
‘This property was perfect for our family while I attended a local convention. It is in a great location with easy beach access and not nearly as crowded as its neighboring properties. It was very clean and well maintained. Management checked on us several times to make sure all was good. I highly recommend this property.”
Our takeaway: We often see many travelers visiting for local conferences who don’t want to be stuck in a tiny hotel room. Vacation rentals offer great space, often a full kitchen, and many times even a washer/dryer in the property which allows for your family to feel right at home, even if traveling.
“Our rental from start to finish was super easy. Breathe Easy was so great to deal with. We will definitely be using them again in the future. The beach access was awesome. Private beach was not overcrowded at all. We never had any issues getting an umbrella and chairs. Can’t wait to come back. We used Xplorie for a dolphin cruise with [the] Sea Blaster cruises, and it was very easy to book through them. We received one free adult ticket for the cruise which saved us $30. The cruise was a lot of fun, and the crew were a blast. Definitely recommend using them. Fudpuckers was a lot of fun also.”
Our takeaway: When comparing vacation rental options, consider things such as beach access (public vs. private), amenities, beach service, price, bedding, bathrooms (shower vs. tub) and parking allowances. “The condo was spacious, clean, and cozy, comfortably fitting my family of 5. This was our first time staying in this particular area of Destin, and we loved it. The condo was a very short walk across the parking lot and one-street crosswalk to the beach, less than 2 minutes, which was very nice. The beach set-up with umbrella and chairs is always a favorite amenity and made our beach time much more enjoyable. The pool is just around the corner from the room and was easy to get to. The majority of shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores are a 15-20 minute drive away, with some restaurants being within walking distance of the condo. Overall, we had a great stay in this condo and had a wonderful experience with the communication/booking process with Breathe Easy Rentals! Highly recommend staying here or booking with this company.”
Our takeaway: Try something new! While we, too, love going back to the same safe spaces, you never know when you’re going to visit an area/property that far exceeds your expectations. We do suggest doing business with the same rental company in the area (wink, wink: Breathe Easy Rentals), especially when they offer a plethora of vacation rental condos and homes! Also, don’t forget to ask for local recommendations on eats/things to do. We provide our guests with a handy dandy digital guidebook that highlights our favs!
